The Council
We sisters, Ameyaltzin, Xiuhcoatl and Oceloquiahuitl, represent the basis of the Council of our Moondance Circle “Atlachinolli Meztli” in Austria. This is the Council of the sisterhood where the visions and decisions of the Moondance Atlachinolli Meztli come to life. Our sisterhood was born in Mexico about 20 years ago.
Together we travelled to many sacred places of Mother Father Earth where we shared heart feelings and visions for a better human life, with a free and conscious existence, with respect and love for all creation, nature and all different forms of life. We travelled many paths, learning from ancient traditions and also from the ancient Indian teachers and wisdom.
The Great Spirit guided us together once again to bring the Moon Dance prayer to Europe, Austria.
It all started when Oceloquiahuitl had a vision during a sweat lodge ceremony in Austria, and little by little the vision came true.
To honour Austria, the country, the ancient Celtic wisdom and the diverse origins of our sisters and brothers and all the ancestral lineages in Europe, we have chosen the TRISKELION as one of the important symbols that represent us in the circle, it is this Celtic symbol that speaks about the constant movement of nature, life, death and rebirth. It is also a symbol that represents trust in the divine order.
We are deeply grateful to express our love and respect for the ancient tradition of the Moondance and we thank Europe and Austria and their ancestors for welcoming us here with such love and open hearts.
Xiuhcoatl & Ameyaltzin
We were born in Santiago de Chile and from there we followed our heart, which took us to different realities and different places on this planet, always dedicated to learn, expand and integrate diverse cultures within ourselves. Especially those cultures that teach us the unexpected, magical and profound spiritual path.
Since we were young we embarked on the path of yoga, which has become an integral part of our lives. We offer classes and workshops and we feel passionate about combining yoga with dance and sweat lodges. It has helped us to keep our bodies flexible, our minds clear and our spirit firm. We are very grateful for the knowledge of yoga and all its gifts.
In 2005, we found the Moon Dance Circle and since then it has been a wonderful and vital blessing. The commitment to this path, from 21 years ago, allowed us to free ourselves from our unconscious acts and has helped us to expand into a new dimension of living life to the fullest.
Knowing what grandmother Tonalmitl (leader of the moon dance circle in Mexico) had predicted all these years: “the moon dance should spread all over the world, in these times, women from all over the world, of all races, colors and traditions will dance together, united in a mighty Circle.
Following the signs and with great honor and joy, we opened the Moondance Circle ‘Atlachinolli Meztli’ in Austria in June 2018.
Together we work in harmony for human evolution and consciousness. Guided by the spirit of the elements, nature and cosmos as essential medicines for humanity.

ANTARA DAKINI (CHANTS)
Our Chilean sister, who lives in Austria and dance in the mother circle in Mexico, received the vision to open a Moondance Circle in Austria. Since this revelation she has devoted all her prayers and time to the manifestation and anchoring of this Sacred Prayer. She leads sweat lodges and connects the worlds. She helps to organize many aspects within this great project.
Since the beginning of the moon dance circle in Austria, she become the guardian of our sacred drum, “Huehuetl”, caring about all the sacred chants, songs, prayers and the beat of our mother drumm.
“ I honor all Great Masters, Sacred Traditions and Ancestors-Wisdom Keepers of Mother Earth. They are the ones who remind me to walk my path with love, integrity, acceptance, truth, courage, awareness and compassion.”
